WOOW GLOBAL SHIPPING TERMS & CONDITIONS
Effective Date: February 01st 2025 (update-1)
1. Company Role
WOOW Global (“WOOW”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) operates strictly as an aggregator shipping company and purchasing agent. We are not an airline, carrier, or courier company.
WOOW coordinates shipment movement through third-party carriers including but not limited to airlines, FedEx, DHL, UPS, USPS, and other logistics partners.
All transportation services are subject to the terms and conditions of the actual carrier.
2. Acceptance of Terms
No physical signature is required.
By submitting a shipment, making payment, using our warehouse address, or using our website or services, you automatically agree to these Terms & Conditions in full.
3. Customer Responsibilities
3.1 Legal Compliance
You certify that all goods are legal in both origin and destination countries, non-hazardous, properly declared, and compliant with export and import regulations.
3.2 Prohibited Items
The following are strictly prohibited:
● Weapons or ammunition
● Narcotics or controlled substances
● Counterfeit goods
● Hazardous or flammable materials
● Explosives
● Any illegal goods under U.S. , Bangladesh or international law
WOOW reserves the right to refuse, cancel, or dispose of prohibited shipments without compensation.
- 3.3 Accurate Declaration
- Misdeclaration of value, weight, item description, or category may result in seizure, fines, confiscation, or permanent loss without compensation. WOOW is not responsible for customer misdeclaration.
- 3.4 Duties, Tariffs & Additional Charges
- All customs duties, VAT, import tariffs, brokerage fees, inspection charges, storage fees, penalties, or any additional cost imposed by customs or government authorities — even if such charges arise after a previously agreed contract rate with WOOW — shall be fully borne by the sender or receiver.
- WOOW will assist with payment procedures where possible; however, full financial responsibility remains with the customer.
- 4. Delivery, Transit, Delays & Rate Adjustment
- 4.1 Estimated Delivery
- All transit times are estimates only and are not guaranteed.
- 4.2 Force Majeure
- WOOW shall not be liable for delays or service interruptions caused by:
- ● War or geopolitical conflict
- ● Natural disasters
- ● Government actions
- ● Customs inspections or holds
- ● Airline capacity shortages
- ● Fuel surcharge increases
- ● Pandemics
- ● Strikes
- ● Security restrictions
- ● Airspace closures
- 4.3 Rate Adjustment
- In the event of sudden freight increases, airline rate revisions, fuel surcharge increases, regulatory changes, airspace restrictions, war, or natural disaster, WOOW reserves the right to revise shipment pricing even after receiving the package from the sender.
- Customers will be notified of such adjustments, and any additional charges must be paid before shipment release or continuation.
- 4.4 Customs Control
- WOOW has no authority or control over customs inspections, clearance procedures, or regulatory decisions.
- 5. Claims & Liability
- 5.1 Limited Liability
- WOOW’s maximum liability for any claim, including loss, damage, delay, destruction, or dispute, shall not exceed the lesser of:
- ● The carrier’s approved settlement amount, OR
- ● USD $100 per shipment, OR
- ● BDT 20,000 per shipment
- Whichever amount is lower.
- This limitation applies per shipment, not per individual item.
- 5.2 No Consequential Damages
- WOOW shall not be liable for:
- ● Business losses
- ● Lost profits
- ● Emotional distress
- ● Indirect or incidental damages
- ● Market value fluctuations
- 5.3 Insurance
- Optional shipment insurance must be purchased prior to shipment departure. If insurance is not purchased, the standard compensation cap strictly applies.
- 5.4 Damage Claims
- Damage must be reported within 48 hours of delivery with:
- ● Clear photographic evidence
- ● Original packaging retained
- ● Proof of value
- Failure to comply voids the claim.
- 5.5 Customs Seizure
- No compensation shall be provided for goods seized, destroyed, or confiscated due to misdeclaration, prohibited items, or regulatory violations.
- 6. Communication & Shipment Updates
- WOOW may provide shipment updates via:
- ● SMS
- ● Website notifications
- ● Official social media platforms
- Customers are responsible for providing accurate contact details. Failure to receive updates due to incorrect information does not relieve the customer of obligations under this agreement.
- 7. Payment Terms
- All payments must be made upfront unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- Any outstanding balance, additional freight charges, tariff adjustments, customs duties, storage fees, or surcharge increases must be fully paid before delivery or release of the consignment.
- WOOW reserves the right to hold, delay, or refuse shipment release until full payment is received.
- 8. Buy For Me Service
- When using Buy For Me service:
- ● WOOW acts solely as a purchasing agent.
- ● Product warranty remains with the original seller or manufacturer.
- ● Refunds and returns depend entirely on the seller’s policy.
- ● WOOW is not responsible for manufacturer defects.
- 9. Storage Policy
- Free storage is limited according to current published policy.
- After 60 days, unclaimed or unpaid shipments may be disposed of without compensation or further notice.
- 10. Address & Delivery Errors
- Customers are responsible for providing accurate name, address, and contact information.
- Re-delivery fees apply in cases of incorrect or incomplete details.
- WOOW is not responsible for delivery failure caused by incorrect customer-provided information.
- 11. Abandonment
- Shipments unpaid, unclaimed, or undeliverable after 60 days may be considered abandoned and may be disposed of without notice or compensation.
- 12. Governing Law
- These Terms & Conditions are governed by United States federal law, applicable state law, and relevant international cargo conventions.
- 13. Final Agreement
- Payment, shipment submission, or use of WOOW services constitutes full understanding and legally binding acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
- These terms override any verbal agreement or informal communication.
